Our skin is our biggest organ and takes in all the good and the bad we apply to it. Therefore, I like the idea of only feeding my skin with ingredients that are safe enough to be eaten! This face mask will help the sensitive skin on your face to clear away impurities.
Sunflower seed mask
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon olive oil
60g sunflower seeds, ground
Warm honey in a double boiler. Once it is smooth and runny, take off the heat and add the oil. Stir gently until completely blended. Now stir in the ground sunflower seeds. Let mixture cool so it is not too hot for your face. Apply a thick layer onto clean skin, relax and allow the mask to work its miracles. And no nibbling on the face mask! After 20-30 minutes, wash off the mask and moisturise your skin.

Honey has wound-healing, antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. Olive oil is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, protects and nourishes skin, and is high in vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals. Sunflower seeds are full of vitamins A, B, and E, as well as the beneficial fatty acids.
