July is the time to truly trust your instincts and to follow your dreams; more so than usual! The Cancer New Moon on July 4th will prove particularly stimulating, especially for water signs Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio, so ensure you give yourself time to ‘tune in’ to your deepest thoughts, feelings and plans. This is an ideal month to learn ways to boost your intuition through meditation, visualisations and learning to trust your gut instincts.

The New Moon will align with Neptune, amplifying the watery signature of early July’s astrological climate, and this could bring out emotions. And, as this New Moon will align favourably with the Moon's North Node, the people who are truly special to you, or with whom you feel there is a destined link, will feature considerably as you move through the month. For some, uncertainty over the validity of a relationship or an event may arise; and therefore the need to move on in a different direction will appeal.

And, if the New Moon will favour new ventures for water signs, some signs, especially cardinal signs (Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn) may find the going a little tougher. But, luckily for cardinal signs, when the going gets tough … you really do get going - and can excel!

Shortly after the New Moon, a grand trine (120-degree aspect) between asteroid-planet Chiron, Venus and Mars, will prove additionally motivational to those who wish to deepen your interest in inspiring and health-related or therapeutic ventures. That said, if you're particularly easily led, July’s astrological climate really can lead to being seduced by ideals and overlooking the practicalities. What’s more, the astrological climate early July can predispose you to biting off more than you can chew - or worse, to trickery.

But for the more practically minded, the Saturn-Neptune 'square' aspect (90-degree angle) is ongoing this month, and can provide you with the stepping stones to implement exciting and inspired ideas, especially earlier in the month, when opportunities could arise out of seemingly nowhere. Go with the flow, but ensure you’re being realistic. Luckily, Mars will inject a little more energy into tired people and plans, making for a more upbeat month collectively.

Globally, there may be repercussions from water-related events prevalent in the news, be these financial in nature (for example, insurance for flood damage and economic developments), or weather-related (e..g too much - or too - little water).

Mid-month, you’ll discover if your expectations have been realistic, and you’ll get the chance to realign your ideas and plans with prevailing circumstances, especially as you head towards the Capricorn Full Moon on the 20th, which will really test your credibility and kudos. Be ready to prove yourself by then, because this month, you’ll find out if you’ve built a castle on sand; or if you really have built solid foundations in life. You will get the chance, in any case, towards the end of the month, to build stability, security and sound structures to hang your ideas and notions upon, allowing them to grow. Good luck. x
